Don't they look great? I really like his idea of using two types of apples in the mince meat. You got all your mince pies ready already?!
Er, belatedly, no. It was all a rush. At time of writing am still wondering when I'll get around to writing December's unwritten cards.
I think you could safely get away with the non-writing Christmas cards at this stage! I eventually made mincemeat about a week before Christmas, handed jars on to my mother for her mincemeat store (always contributed to by herself and my aunt!) and eventually used some of it for a really simple polenta-based Mincemeat Shortbread which we took round to the neighbours on New Year's Eve. Much easier than fiddling around with pastry cases!
